As follow up to our previous communications regarding the TLS 1.0 and 1.1 decommissioning, Equifax will be making an emergency change that affects our online web portal (https://www.equifax.ca/credit/).
As of Monday, May 14, 2018, TLS 1.0 and 1.1 will no longer be supported.
We are making this change to help our customers determine their TLS v 1.2 capability and to identify any issues ahead of our final June 18 migration date.
This change may affect Microsoft Internet Explorer users. In order to maintain access to the Equifax web portal members must ensure their Internet Explorer settings have ‘use TLS 1.2’ enabled.
Microsoft Internet Explorer users can verify this setting from Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. Please ensure ‘use TLS 1.2’ is selected.
