Equifax will upgrade the Operating System from NT to Windows 2003 on the servers running on the Equifax Canada Internet infrastructure. Equifax IT is currently performing extensive testing in preparation for the upgrade to Windows 2003 to ensure a seamless implementation. The schedule is as follows:
Monday, August 23, 2004 - The servers on the UAT environment that are part of the Equifax Canada Internet infrastructure will be upgraded to Windows 2003. The URL https://uat.equifax.ca will remain the same.
We encourage all our clients to test their Internet applications on the UAT environment starting August 23, 2004. If any problems are encountered during the UAT testing, please email sts@equifax.com or contact our System-to-System Technical Support Team at 1-800-387-9986, Option #2.
Sunday, September 19, 2004 - The servers on the Production environment at our Anjou site that are part of the Equifax Canada Internet infrastructure will be upgraded to Windows 2003. The URL https://www.equifax.ca will remain the same.
Sunday, September 26, 2004 - The redundant servers on the Production environment at our Viger site that are part of the Equifax Canada Internet infrastructure will be upgraded to Windows 2003. The URL https://www.equifax.ca will remain the same.
The Onlines will be brought down at the normal time of 2:30 AM EST. It is highly recommended that all clients perform system tests between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. by accessing credit files to confirm proper system response.
If there are any changes to the above dates, Equifax will be posting a bulletin on the Sign On Page of both the UAT and Production of the above member Web sites.
