AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM EQUIFAX CANADA

Enhancements to the Consumer and Commercial inqury forms and reports.

As of April 1st 1998, the following changes will be done to the Internet application:

Consumer

Form:

• The returned error messages are more accurate.
• The special characters and accents are now accepted and will not generate an error message.

Report:

• The header "EQUIFAX CONSUMER" is reduced in size.
• The report date is now displayed in the header section.
• The "legal name cross reference" is returned in the identification section.
• The summary and score sections are no longer returned for a No-Hit.
• The alert and score sections are returned at the beginning of the file.
• In the score section the narrative "FOCUS SCORE" is returned instead of "MDS SCORE" (for customers subscribed to the Focus product).
• The new messages for fraud alert products "Safescan and Safescan ID" are added.
• The summary section is moved right before the tradeline section.
• The tradelines are returned in a more readable format.
• The narrative "END OF REPORT" is returned at the end of the last multiple.

Commercial

Form:

• The font is re-adjusted.
• The examples for telephone number and extension are moved near the telephone data entry.
• The special characters and accents are now accepted and will not generate an error message.

Notes Browser:

• The input information (required fields and telephone number) is returned at the beginning of the report.
• In commercial, the report date is returned at the beginning of the report.
• To receive the new bulletins it is important to refresh your screen regularly or it will not be displayed.
