AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM EQUIFAX CANADA

Changes to Multi-Factor Authentication Service

Whitelist the new email addresses before August 8, 2021

Please be advised that Equifax Canada is updating our multi-factor authentication (MFA) service on all Equifax applications. This change takes effect August 8, 2021. As a result of this update, the email addresses we use to send you unique temporary codes during the login process will change. Your login credentials will not be affected. These changes also do not affect customers who receive unique temporary codes via SMS text message.

To ensure you receive the emails containing your unique temporary codes when logging into your Equifax applications, follow these steps:

  • Add the email addresses below to your contacts:

    • noreply@CAST-UAT.CAN.equifax.com

    • noreply@CAST-Prod.CAN.equifax.com

  • If you request a unique temporary code after August 8 and do not receive an email in response, check your spam and junk folders. Add the sender email addresses to your contacts or mark the messages as “not spam/junk”

  • If your email policy is managed by an external or internal IT team and you are unable to whitelist the addresses below yourself, forward this notice to the appropriate individuals in your organization
